Vážení realizátoøi mezinárodních projektù,

dovolujeme si Vám pøeposlat nabídku Generální konzulát Èeské republiky v Hongkongu.

Generální konzulát Èeské republiky v Hongkongu má letos opìt možnost nominovat dva støedoškolské studenty na desetidenní letní školu Summer School for Global Leadership, která se uskuteèní koncem èervence a poèátkem srpna t.r. v Hongkongu. Nejlepším kandidátùm bude udìleno celé nebo polovièní stipendium (pokrývající rovnìž ubytování). Zájemci prosím pošlete své CV v angliètinì (s dùrazem na vaše mimoškolní aktivity) spoleènì s krátkou esejí (max. 2 normostrany) na téma "What should world leaders focus on in order to improve the quality of lives of people all across the World", na adresu: hongkong@embassy.mzv.cz, a to nejpozdìji do 30. bøezna 2018.

Summer School for Global Leadership ("The Summer School") is a 10-DAY intensive summer education programme conducted in English. Consistent with our future development strategy, which is to establish the first global leadership institute in Hong Kong, the School aims to create a culturally diverse learning environment for the participants and therefore to present them the best learning experience. Last year, we have students from 13 countries/regions participating in the School.

The school offers a unique curriculum combining “Exclusive Visits” to corporates, start-ups and the community, and “Interactive Workshops” that address a range of global issues. Summer School aims to empower students to use knowledge as a tool, to take into account the voices of those directly affected by various problems, and to become leaders who can build solutions to global problems with empathy and passion. This year, we will invite young leaders from various regions or countries around the world to be the guest trainers and share with the participants their stories to change the world. We believe learning is never a one-way process, in the Summer School, different models of learning, such as flipped classroom, e-learning, experiential learning, etc., will be included in the Summer School.

We would like to invite a maximum of 2 elite high school students of leadership potential and a sense of commitment to civil society from Czech Republic to join the School in Hong Kong. Full scholarship or half-scholarship (with accommodation) may be awarded to the top nominee to recognize the achievements of these young leaders. For instance, last year, we have student representative from Mexico, who is Founder of a programme that promotes social inclusion of people with Down Syndrome and student representative from the US, who is Winner of the Best in State Award in Biotechnology from the Technology Student Association in the US.
